Safety Instructions and Bike Care

Before every ride

• Wear a helmet that fits snugly and is fastened.
• Check brakes: both brakes should stop the wheel firmly.
• Check tyres: correct pressure, no cuts or worn tread.
• Check chain: clean and lightly oiled, not dry or rusty.
• Check quick releases and bolts are tight.

On the road

• Ride on the left, follow traffic rules, and signal turns.
• Use front and rear lights after dark and in rain.
• Wear bright or reflective clothing at night.
• Keep a safe distance from parked cars and turning traffic.
• Children should ride with an adult on busy roads.

Bike care

• Clean your bike after dusty or wet rides, especially in monsoon season.
• Oil the chain regularly and wipe off excess oil.
• Store your bike in a dry place and lock it securely.
• Service your bike every two months, or sooner if brakes, gears, or tyres feel wrong.
